The Wizards took the lead late in the half after Davies kicked two further penalties to give the visitors a narrow 9 - 8 lead at the interval.
A Liam Gadd try and another Davies penalty increased the Wizards lead to nine points after fifty minutes but the Blue & Blacks hit back thanks to a try by Jonathan Hill while the Wizards had a man in the bin.
